GIVE SPECIFIC AND MEASURABLE RESULTS FOR EACH GOAL ESTABLISHED. DESCRIBE THE IMPACT OF THIS PROJECT ON THE CHAPTER, INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS, AND THE COMMUNITY. Goal Results: A. To have at least 10 Jaycees attend the training. This goal was not met. Seven Jaycees attended the training. B. To gain at least one new fundraising project idea that can be used by the chapter. This goal was met. The chapter decided to try the “Trivia Night” project. C. To run the project at no cost to the chapter. This goal was met. Project Impact: This project involved 7 Jaycees, which is 8% of our chapter, and 1 former Jaycee. Benefit to the Individual: The individual benefits by learning about new methods of raising funds for the chapter. This gives the individual more confidence and may convince the individual to chair a fundraising project. Benefit to the Chapter: The chapter benefits when the fundraising training is used to run a project, and the treasury increases as a result. Benefit to the Community: The community benefits because if the chapter has more funds, the chapter can run more projects for the benefit of the community. Things like Easter Egg Hunts or building bleachers for a local park. West St. Louis County Jaycees - Chairman’s Planning Guide Page 5
