IMPLEMENTATION AND EVALUATION 8. RECORD ANY REVISION OF THE ORIGINAL PLAN. No revisions were necessary. 9. LIST SOLUTIONS OR RECOMMENDATIONS FOR A FUTURE CHAIRPERSON. The project was not as well attended as I hoped. I think more publicity would have helped. I would recommend that the chairman make sure the event is publicized well in advance in both the newsletter and in the local newspapers. Although many people expressed interest in the presentation, vacation plans and other obligations got in the way. 10. GIVE SPECIFIC AND MEASURABLE RESULTS FOR EACH GOAL ESTABLISHED. DESCRIBE THE IMPACT OF THIS PROJECT ON THE CHAPTER, INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS, AND THE COMMUNITY. Goal Results: A. To run the project at no cost to the chapter. This goal was met. B. To have 10 Jaycees attend the project. This goal was not met. Only 3 Jaycees were able to attend the project. C. To have 3 prospective Jaycees attend the project. This goal was not met. There were no prospective members at the project. Benefit to the Individual: The individual benefits by learning more about the working of their sub-conscious minds. Dream Interpretation is a way to see what is going on in the back of your mind. This can help our members become more confident, as they begin to understand how the mind works. Benefit to the Chapter: The chapter benefits by attracting new members to the chapter when they attend the presentation. The chapter also benefits by learning more about another organization in the St. Louis area. Benefit to the Community: The Community benefits any time the chapter is able to attract new members. By gaining more members, the chapter is able to do more for the community. West St. Louis County Jaycees - Chairman’s Planning Guide Page 1
